SDP BiH Main Board Session on Saturday: Formation of Election Headquarters

The third session of the Main Board of SDP BiH will be held on Saturday, 23.01.2016, starting at 10 AM in Sarajevo, in the hall of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, Hamdije Kreševića 3 Street, Sarajevo, it was announced by the party, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

As confirmed for the Patria agency by the president of the Main Board of SDP BiH, Saša Magazinović, the current political situation will also be on the agenda.

- We will appoint the Election Headquarters and related decisions, members of the Central Election Commission of SDP whose mandate expired after the last elections. The formation of the Statute Committee, the Court of Honour, and a decision on the establishment of the Main Board Council of SDP are also on the agenda - said Magazinović.

Given that the local elections will be held in October 2016, and that a joint appearance of SDP BiH and DF is increasingly mentioned, we were interested in the stage of this process and whether it is realistic to expect it. 

As the Patria agency learns, delegations of these two parties should meet in the coming days to officially determine their joint appearance in the upcoming elections.

On the other hand, Magazinović says that communication between the two parties exists at different levels, but he does not have precise information on when a meeting will take place.
