House of Peoples of FBiH session scheduled for Thursday must be postponed to Friday

The continuation of the constitutive session of the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament is announced for Thursday, but as confirmed by Sifet Podžić, Secretary General of the Democratic Front (DF), this session will have to be postponed to Friday, because the 48-hour deadline for appeals must be respected, after collecting signatures for the FBiH leadership.

DF will collect signatures for its candidate only tomorrow, and then the next 48 hours, as stipulated by the election law for appeals, must be waited out. Therefore, it is impossible to hold the session on Thursday. I believe the session will be held on Friday – Podžić said.

The agenda of this session will therefore include the election of the President and Vice-Presidents of FBiH in order to unblock the establishment of executive and legislative power in the Federation.

We remind you that HDZ BiH nominated Marinko Čavara for the position of President of the Federation. SDA nominated Melika Mahmutbegović for the position of Vice-President, while DF decided today that the Vice-President from the Serb people will be Milan Dunović.
