Do you remember police officer Žila, he returned to work 15 days ago

Do you remember Elmir Kadić Žila, the forty-year-old special forces officer, whose picture from the February 7th protests in Sarajevo, when protesters set fire to the BiH Presidency building, the KS Government building and the Centar Municipality building, went around the world. 

Kadić was seriously injured during the protests. Hooligans damaged his esophagus with a stone, after which he had difficulty breathing. However, today, four months after the protests, Kadić has returned to work.

- I haven't fully recovered, but it's good. I have to work – Kadić said jokingly to the BiH news agency Patria (NAP). 

Kadić has served his country his entire working life. From the military uniform, which he put on when the aggression against BiH began, he transitioned to the police, and since 2005 he has been a member of the Special Support Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
For him, the job of a special police officer is primarily a passion, but also how he feeds his wife and two daughters.

- I couldn't wait to get back to work – Kadić told NAP.

Criminal charges have been filed against several individuals for the riots on February 7th in Sarajevo, and an extensive investigation is underway at the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina against Nihad Trnka and Salem Hatibović, who are suspected of setting fire to the BiH Presidency, writes Patria.
