Remembering the fighters who gave their lives for the freedom of BiH

By laying flowers and reciting hatma dua at the Bey's Mosque in Sarajevo, on the second day of Ramadan Bayram, the Day of Martyrs - remembrance of the brave fighters of the Army of RBiH, who gave their lives from '92 to '95 for the defense of the country from the Serbian aggressor, is being marked today, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

The Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Bakir Izetbegović, and the member of the Presidency of BiH, Željko Komšić, will lay a wreath at the Kovači Martyrs' Cemetery in Sarajevo, as will a delegation of the Islamic Community in BiH, led by Reis-ul-ulema Husein ef. Kavazović.

At 11:30 AM, a hatma dua for the martyrs will be recited at the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, followed by an address by Reis-ul-ulema Kavazović.

The Day of Martyrs in BiH has been observed since January 1995 by a decision of the Riyaset of the Islamic Community of BiH, writes NAP.
