(Patria) - The President of the Cantonal Board of the Independent Union of Primary Education and Upbringing of FBiH, Saudin Sivro, sent a letter to the Minister of Education and Upbringing, Naida Hota-Muminović, regarding employment.
"More than four months ago, we addressed you with a letter in which we warned that colleagues in other cantons are facing many problems, especially with the hiring of retired colleagues who apply for positions according to current regulations. We drew your attention then to take extreme care of the aforementioned when drafting the new rulebook on hiring employees, because we must not allow our young colleagues to not have the opportunity to work.
In the last few days, we have received numerous requests from young colleagues, candidates in current tender procedures, for assistance because their retired colleagues are ranked first in the tenders. By ignoring our letter and not taking the necessary actions to change the current rulebook, you have caused great damage to young education workers.
We demand that you immediately change the current rulebook and enable young education workers to get jobs under equal conditions and criteria," the letter states.
