Sivro wrote to the minister: There is a shortage of teaching staff, young people must be given a chance

(Patria) - The Sarajevo Canton Board of the Independent Union of Primary Education and Upbringing of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in a letter addressed to the Minister of Education and Upbringing of Sarajevo Canton Naida Hota-Muminović, states that they have learned "that in other cantons of the Federation of BiH, their colleagues are facing many problems, especially with the hiring of workers, i.e., retired colleagues who apply for job openings under current regulations."

"You are aware that in Sarajevo Canton, and generally in our country, there has been a reduction in teaching staff and that more and more workers are returning from retirement to enter classrooms and work.

We want to draw your attention to the issues that colleagues in other cantons are facing, all with the aim that during the drafting of the new regulation on the hiring of workers, special care is taken about this, because we must not allow our young colleagues to have no opportunity to work," stated in the letter the president of the Independent Union of Primary Education and Upbringing of Sarajevo Canton Saudin Sivro, as announced by the union.
