Sivro announced an appeal against the Court's verdict: See you at the protests on May 14th

(Patria) - After the first-instance non-final verdict regarding the recent strike of education workers in the Sarajevo Canton was announced, Saudin Sivro, president of the Union of Primary Education and Upbringing of the Sarajevo Canton, stated that it is not final or binding, and that the Union will exercise its legal right and file an appeal against it.

"I believe it is not right for the opposing side to try to misinform the public in their statement, to threaten and to include sentences like: 'Children cannot and must not be victims of adult manipulation, as stated in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which is an integral part of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is also confirmed by this verdict.', because the first-instance non-final Verdict they refer to does not mention what the opposing side claims in any sentence.

Education workers know how to read and draw conclusions from what they read, education workers know how to legally defend their rights before competent institutions and courts, education workers are not afraid and do not allow themselves to be intimidated by threats and pressures, because everything they do, they do with good intentions and a pure heart for the benefit of students and society as a whole (very often at their own expense).
