(Patria) - After heavy rainfall in recent days, there were no new precipitations in Zenica during the past night and this morning. River water levels have significantly decreased, and the situation is now stable.
According to information from the Sava River Water Agency, at 12:00 the water level of the Bosna River in Raspotočje was 274 cm, a significant drop compared to previous days.
The amount and intensity of precipitation in the coming days will not cause a new significant rise in water levels, so stabilisation and the end of the emergency hydrological situation are expected over the weekend.
According to information from the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina, tomorrow the south will have moderately cloudy weather, while the rest of the country will be mostly cloudy.
“In Bosnia and northern Herzegovina, light rain or local showers are possible occasionally. In Herzegovina and southwestern Bosnia, a light to moderate bora wind, while in the rest of the country a light north and northwest wind. Morning air temperature from 4 to 10, in the south up to 12, and daytime from 8 to 14, in the south up to 10 degrees Celsius. Expected precipitation over 24 hours between 1 and 5, locally up to 10 l/m2. No precipitation is expected in Herzegovina,” they state.
The beginning of next week will bring slightly lower morning air temperatures and occasional precipitation.
