Sirovica attended the commemoration of the 32nd anniversary of the death of hero Senahid Bolić-Bole

(Patria) - The 32nd anniversary of the death of Senahid Bolić-Bole, legendary commander of the Second Battalion of the First Olovo Mountain Brigade of Bosnia and Herzegovina and recipient of the highest war decorations "Golden Lily" and "Order of Military Merit with Golden Swords", was marked today in Olovo.

The central part of the commemoration was held at the memorial in Bakići, where delegations laid flowers and paid tribute to the hero who gave his life in defense of the freedom and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The commemoration was attended by family members, fellow soldiers, representatives of veterans' associations, government institutions, as well as members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On that occasion, the Minister for Veterans' Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Adnan Sirovica, pointed out that Senahid Bolić-Bole is a lasting symbol of courage, responsibility and selfless sacrifice for the homeland.

- Remembering Senahid Bolić-Bole is not only an act of respect towards a hero, but also an obligation for all of us to preserve the values for which he fought. His courage and leadership remain a guide for younger generations and a permanent reminder that freedom is never to be taken for granted - said Minister Sirovica.

As part of the anniversary commemoration, accompanying events were also held, further expressing gratitude and respect for the character and work of Senahid Bolić-Bole, as well as for all members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina who made an immeasurable contribution to the defense of the country.
