Sirovica at the commemoration of the Day of War Units of Zavidovići: Victims and the veteran population must not be forgotten

(Patria) - By laying flowers at the central Memorial and paying tribute to the martyrs, fallen soldiers, and civilian victims of the defense-liberation war, delegations, comrades-in-arms, and numerous guests marked the anniversary of the war units of Zavidovići.



The attendees recalled the difficult war years, the heroism of the defenders, and the significant operations that marked the territory of Zavidovići, with the aim of passing on the memory of these events to future generations and ensuring that the period of defense is not forgotten.



The Minister for Veteran Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK), Adnan Sirovica, emphasized the importance of today's date for all veterans from Zavidovići.



He also stressed that victims and the veteran population must not be forgotten, and that the veteran population must be united in resolving the problems they face.
