Martyrs' Day Duly Marked Across BiH, Fatiha Recited at Alija Izetbegović's Grave in Kovači

This year as well, the second day of Ramadan Bayram was marked as Martyrs' Day across Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the Patria news agency.

The central program was held at the Kovači cemetery, where flowers were also laid at the grave of the first President of the Presidency of the Republic of BiH, Alija Izetbegović, where imams recited the Fatiha, followed by Yasin.

Also in Breza, the second day of Ramadan Bayram, which is also observed as Martyrs' Day, was marked with dignity. Numerous citizens, members of martyrs' families, veterans' organizations, and representatives of public and political life visited the martyrs' cemeteries, where they recited the fatiha and hatma-dova, reports the Patria news agency.

The central program marking this significant date was held in front of the Elementary School "Enver Čolaković". This gathering has become traditional, and each year the number of visitors grows, giving hope that this day will not be erased and forgotten.

In Visoko, as well as in Bugojno and other cities in BiH, Martyrs' Day was marked with dignity, remembering the most loyal and bravest sons of this country.
