Široki inflicts first defeat on Mladost, Zrinjski and Borac record new victories

With today's four matches, the fifth round of the BH Telecom Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina in football has been completed, writes the Patria agency. 

In the fifth round of the PLBiH, Sloboda was defeated at home by the current champion Zrinjski with a score of 0:2.

The hosts opened the match better and threatened in the fourth minute after a great action by Lazevski, but Zrinjski's defense cleared the danger in front of their goal.

In the 15th minute, the first chance for the guests, Jović shot, but the score remained 0:0. Three minutes later, Zilkić tried on the other side.

It was the 27th minute when the spectators at Tušanj saw the first goal, and Filipović brilliantly shook the net of the Tuzla team, giving the Plemići a 0:1 lead. That was also the result of the first half.

In the continuation of the duel, Sloboda had a chance. Ćulum shot well, but Pirić saved. In the 56th minute, a chance for Zrinjski through Filipović, it remained 0:1. The same player scored his second goal of the match in the 59th minute.

After the goal, the home players seemed to give up, and the guests had two more chances through Galić in the 70th and 77th minutes, but it remained 0:2, which was the final result of the match.

One of the interesting matches of the 5th round of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina at Pecara was played by Široki Brijeg and Mladost. Three goals were seen, and in the end the hosts celebrated with a 3:1 victory.

A cold shower at Pecara happened in the 31st minute. The league leader until this round took the lead with a goal by Regoje after a set piece.

The team from Doboj near Kakanj conceded the equalizing goal at the worst possible moment, in stoppage time of the first half when Jurić scored.

The guests created two chances at the beginning of the second half, but they failed to take the lead again.

Široki completed the turnaround in the 60th minute when Ćorić scored. The guests finished the match with a player less because Regoje was sent off in the 88th minute. The final 3:1 was set by Čabraja.

This was Mulalić's first defeat on the bench of Mladost, meaning there are no longer any undefeated teams in the new Premier League season.

Radnik defeated GOŠK 3:1 in the first match of today's program of the 5th round of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After a rather uninteresting first half that passed without major excitement, the goals were scored in the second half.

Radnik took the lead in the 58th minute when Besim Serbečić scored, and the hosts' lead was doubled by Demir Peco after a nice action in the 70th minute.

The Gabela team got back into the game in the 84th minute, after a cross from Elvir Čolić, Miljenog Bošnjak headed past Mladen Lučić.

However, all doubts about the winner were resolved in the 86th minute by substitute Aleksadar Glišić, who scored the third goal for Radnik.

With these three points, Radnik moved up to third place, while GOŠK remained in eighth position.

Borac recorded a valuable triumph against Vitez in the fifth round of the PLBiH with a score of 1:0.

The guests' net was shaken already in the fourth minute, and the scorer was Galešić from a penalty. When everyone thought they would see a goal fest in Banja Luka, the complete opposite happened.

Borac was the better opponent in the continuation, they had several chances, but there was no change in the score.

The guests seemed quite ineffective and lacking ideas, and the fact that they did not have a single serious chance in front of the hosts' goal speaks volumes about their game tonight.

On the other hand, Borac did not exactly set their sights well, so tonight's match will be decided by the penalty from the very start of the game, with which the Banja Luka team reached nine points this season, while Vitez remained stuck at the bottom of the table with one point won.
