SIPA in Action 'Istok Turist': Raids at Eight Locations, 18 Suspects

(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency today (19.05.2025), in the areas of Sarajevo, Travnik, Cazin, Velika Kladuša and Novi Grad began an operational action "Istok Turist", within which searches of residential and auxiliary buildings and movable property are being carried out at eight locations in connection with 18 suspects.

The operational action "Istok Turist" is being conducted by order of the Court and under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that the criminal offenses of "Organizing a group or association for the commission of the criminal offense of migrant smuggling" and "Human smuggling" prescribed by the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been committed.
