(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) yesterday (12/28/2021), acting on an oral order from the Basic Court in Šamac, searched residential premises, auxiliary facilities, and movable property owned by a suspect in the area of the municipality of Šamac, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that the said person committed the criminal offense from Article 207 of the Criminal Code of Republika Srpska, "Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs".
During the search, ten kilograms of the narcotic drug marijuana and one mobile phone were discovered and temporarily confiscated. One person was deprived of liberty and taken to SIPA premises for criminal processing and questioning as a suspect.
The aforementioned activities were carried out in cooperation with police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska and under the supervision of the acting prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Doboj.
