SIPA refused to participate in Dodik's apprehension for 'security reasons'

(Patria) - Members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) will not participate in the apprehension of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik to the BiH Prosecutor's Office, Istraga.ba has learned.

After a day-long meeting, the leadership of this state police agency, headed by Darko Ćulum, concluded that there is currently a high security risk for its officers to assist the BiH Court Police in bringing Dodik to the premises of the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

Since prosecutor Ćazim Hasanspahić issued an order for Dodik to be brought in by the Court Police with the assistance of SIPA and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, due to the refusal of the police agencies (SIPA and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska) to provide assistance, nothing will come of bringing Dodik in.

Thus, in effect, all claims made by Istraga published on Wednesday morning, when the portal detailed such a scenario, have been confirmed.

As another farce orchestrated by the grand prosecutorial team led by Džermin Pašić and Dubravko Čampara has failed, the President of Republika Srpska and his associates continue to dismantle BiH institutions. Meanwhile, the "hero prosecutors" are left only to request the issuance of a central arrest warrant.

The BiH Minister of Justice, Davor Bunoza (HDZ), also supported SIPA's stance not to participate in the apprehension of Milorad Dodik.

- I advocate for the law to be respected, but the law stipulates that people's health must be taken care of. I do not want anyone to be endangered. I hope we will find a solution there. The Court Police will act in accordance with legal regulations. That is all I can say on this topic for now, - said Bunoza.

Before SIPA refused the order of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska did the same.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, Siniša Karan, speaking about the execution of the order to apprehend Milorad Dodik, Radovan Višković, and Nenad Stevandić, stated that the leaders of Republika Srpska would have protection.

- They will have full integrity from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. These institutions cannot, will not, and must not act on the territory of Republika Srpska. These are the laws of Republika Srpska, the Constitution obliges us to do so, as does our ethical, moral, and professional obligation, and this is the responsibility of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. No one will be arrested, and everyone will be protected, - said Karan.

Thus, the farce called the apprehension of Milorad Dodik, conceived by prosecutors Džermin Pašić and Dubravko Čampara, ended. They, using the signature of Ćazim Hasanspahić as in other proceedings, intended to shift responsibility for their (in)action to the BiH Court Police.

Čampara, we remind you, had previously covered up the case of expelling SIPA members from the premises of the Regional Office in Banja Luka. Čampara coordinates all his activities with the Director of the Republika Srpska Police, Siniša Kostrešević.

Istraga has already reported that, after the Trojka entered into a coalition with SNSD, the position of Head of SIPA's Special Police was taken over by SNSD cadre Dalibor Milošević. Thus, it happened that the leadership chain of SIPA, the Court Police, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska all consist of cadres close to SNSD.

Miovčić: SIPA did not refuse assistance to the BiH Court Police

SIPA, due to great public interest and accurate information, issued a statement today, stating that "SIPA did not refuse assistance to the BiH Court Police regarding the execution of the BiH Prosecutor's Office order".

- Taking into account the complexity of the situation, SIPA conducted a security assessment, which was evaluated as high-risk and was submitted as such to the BiH Court Police for further informing of the competent institutions, i.e., the BiH Prosecutor's Office, - stated SIPA spokesperson Jelena Miovčić to the media.

Istraga: Why was the operation not carried out?

Immediately after this statement, the portal Istraga.ba posted a short question to SIPA on its X platform: "If you did not refuse to assist in the apprehension of Milorad Dodik, why was the operation you allegedly did not refuse not carried out?"
