SIPA arrests prominent marketing agency owners since morning!

Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) launched an operation codenamed "Gibraltar" this morning, which is being carried out in the areas of Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Mostar, Posušje, and Grude.

Several individuals are being apprehended due to grounds for suspicion that they have committed the criminal offense of organized crime in connection with criminal offenses from the field of financial crime and corruption. Investigative activities have determined that members of the organized criminal group, through their illegal actions, based on forged or detrimental contracts and invoices, have siphoned off money and gained illegal property benefits exceeding five million euros for the alleged purchase of TV rights and services, which were mostly not actually transacted.

Within this operation, arrests of suspects are being carried out, including Neven Kulenović (1967), director of the marketing agency S.V.R.S.A, then Belma Kulenović (1972), Sanjin Kulenović (1970), Lajla Torlak (1978), editor-in-chief of PINK BH, Darko Aleksić (1965), and suspect Ejub Kučuk (1973) from agency MITA and Senad Zaimović, director of "Fabrika" (1964), as well as senior officials of the telecom company "Eronet", including directors Stipe Prlić (1958) and Zorana Bakula (1964).

Searches of residential buildings, business premises, and movable property are underway at multiple locations with the aim of finding and temporarily seizing items that may serve as evidence in further proceedings.

Individuals deprived of liberty will be taken to SIPA's official premises, where criminal processing will be carried out, after which they will be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH for further proceedings.

Activities are being carried out under the orders of the Court of BiH and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, in cooperation with members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of West Herzegovina Canton, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska.
