SIPA and FKKSS signed Cooperation Agreement

The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies (FKKSS) signed a Cooperation Agreement today at the official premises of SIPA. The agreement was signed by SIPA Director Perica Stanić and FKKSS Dean Prof. Dr. Nedžad Korajlić, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

The signing of this agreement marks the beginning of official cooperation between SIPA and FKKSS, which will be realized in the future through joint projects, aimed at developing science and profession, then through scientific and professional cooperation in the form of training and professional development of FKKSS students, organizing specialized courses for SIPA members, round tables, and through other forms of cooperation.

Students of the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies will have the opportunity to visit SIPA and attend lectures on organized crime, terrorism, and other forms of crime, within which SIPA investigators will present practical examples, as well as lectures from other areas within SIPA's scope of work, in order to familiarize them with SIPA's role and its significance in the security system of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The signatories of the Agreement mutually expressed satisfaction with the officially initiated cooperation between the two institutions, which will be of mutual interest, especially considering the fact that a large number of students from this faculty start their employment in SIPA after completing their studies. SIPA considers it very significant that in this way it will participate in the education of future personnel for security structures in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also that SIPA members will be able to attend certain specialized trainings, where they will have the opportunity to exchange experiences, and further expand and improve their knowledge.
