SIPA blocked accounts of arrested individuals in "Index" operation, over 300,000 KM found

(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) yesterday (03/18/2024) within the operational action "Index", which was carried out under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, took measures and actions within which they checked bank accounts for five individuals.

At that time, temporary suspension of transactions totaling 345,850.00 convertible marks and 3365.00 euros was carried out for all five individuals.

Also, six persons deprived of liberty were handed over today (03/19/2024), after the completion of criminal processing and questioning as suspects, along with a Report on the Committed Criminal Offense, to the further jurisdiction of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This operational action includes several individuals and legal entities, and the investigative activities relate to the prosecution of irregularities associated with private higher education institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
