(Patria) - The President of the Union of Healthcare Workers of Sarajevo Canton, Senad Sadiković, announced new protests in front of the Clinical Center in Sarajevo at a press conference on Friday in Sarajevo.
He presented data that there are currently 2,000 lawsuits at KCUS regarding which the management is doing nothing, and he announced new protests on November 20, when, as he stated, they will close the main gate of this institution.
They are demanding the appointment of a permanent director and a permanent Management Board, the full implementation of the KCUS Rulebook and Collective Agreement, as well as the execution of an inspection supervision for which an urgent request has been sent.
"On Monday, we will make a decision on where to file a lawsuit against the Federal Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton to resolve the issues at KCUS," Sadiković stated.
Representatives of this healthcare institution recently presented data at a press conference that KCUS is in a deficit of six million KM for nine months.
The Union of Healthcare Workers of Sarajevo Canton then submitted an initiative to the supervisory bodies for oversight of the work and financial operations of this healthcare institution.
Protests in front of this institution were held a few days ago with the same demands, but no one from the authorities has yet responded.
