Union demands review of constitutionality of the process of adopting the new Labour Law in FBiH

The Union of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina will submit an initiative to review the constitutionality of the process of adopting and the content of the Labour Law of FBiH, and will also submit a request to the Government of FBiH to urgently begin drafting a set of laws, such as the Law on Amendments to the Law on Strikes, the Law on Safety and Health at Work - announced the Union, as reported by the news agency Patria.

These are just some of the activities announced by the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after the Labour Law of FBiH was adopted in both houses of the Parliament of FBiH at the end of last month.

The Union's request will also refer to the urgent drafting of the Law on Linking Length of Service, the Law on Amendments to the Law on Bankruptcy Proceedings of FBiH, as well as the Law on Amendments to the Law on Mediation in Employment and Social Security of Unemployed Persons of FBiH.

The session of the Main Board of SSSBiH will be held no later than August 24 this year, stated SSSBiH, as reported by Patria.
