President of the Union of Independent Trade Unions of BiH Ismet Barjamović stated that workers will take revenge on the parties that supported the Labor Law, and that this will happen as early as the upcoming elections. At today's press conference, he called on workers to turn to trade unions and protect their rights through this organization, reports the news agency Patria.
After the Parliament of the Federation of BiH adopted the Labor Law, which, according to the Union's assessment, harms workers, Bajramović said that the Union will engage legal experts who will protect workers in the further struggle for workers' rights.
Bajramović called on workers who are not union members to join trade unions.

The House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH adopted the new Labor Law on Friday with the required majority of 50 votes. Thirty deputies voted against it.
The law was voted for by deputies from SDA, A-SDA, SBiH, the coalition led by HDZ BiH, BPS, and Naša stranka, while deputies from SBB, SDP, DF, and HDZ 1990 voted against it.
The implementation of the Law will begin after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH, reports NAP.
