Union threatens strike if announced Assembly of Sarajevo Canton is not held

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Management Board of the Independent Union of Civil Servants and Employees of Sarajevo Canton at today's emergency session discussed the current situation and developments in the legislative and executive authorities of Sarajevo Canton.

A decision was made on the preparation and organization of a warning strike which will be carried out in all state bodies where members of our union are located in the event that the same scenario occurs in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton on January 16, the Union announced.

The Union will invite other unions in Sarajevo Canton to hold a meeting at which joint activities will be decided in the event of failure to adopt decisions that would unblock processes in Sarajevo Canton.
