Unionists at Kamberovića Polje: Several hundred gathered received a portion of beans for May Day

The Union of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina organized the central celebration of the International Workers' Day – May 1 in Zenica at Kamberovića Polje, and despite the cold weather, several hundred people came to celebrate the holiday, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

At the Stone Sleeper memorial, candles were laid, after which those present at Kamberovića Polje were given a portion of beans.

Incidentally, most workers are spending this holiday in an unfavorable position, in constant fear for their survival.

The latest information on initiated bankruptcies in numerous Bosnian companies is one of the reasons why this holiday is being celebrated in the fight for workers' rights.
