Son of legendary Mustafa Hukić: I think of you every day, I miss you a lot

Legendary footballer Mustafa Hukić – Huka died in a traffic accident on this day in 1999, writes the Patria News Agency.

The Hukić family, representatives of FK „Sloboda“ and friends, visit the memorial in Devetak, near Lukavac, every year and lay a wreath at the place where Huka, one of the legends of FK Sloboda, took his last breath on August 7, 1999.

Hukić died at the age of 48. He was the first coach of the BiH national team, and in his rich playing career, besides Sloboda, he played for Osijek, Adana from Turkey, and San Jose from the USA.

His son Jasmin Hukić left an emotional message on social media this morning with an accompanying photo.

- My dear dad. 16 years, and it feels like yesterday... I think of you every day, I miss you, and know that I LOVE you the most in the world – Jasmin wrote.
