Silajdžić: Workers in the economy must earn their salaries and gift vouchers for budget users, in addition to their own earnings

(Patria) - A year ago, the Party for BiH MPs Club in the FBiH Parliament proposed that employers in FBiH be allowed to increase salaries by KM 400 without additional taxation.

The federal MP of the Party for BiH, Haris Silajdžić, reminded of this with a Facebook status today, emphasizing that the goal of the measure was to raise the standard of living for workers in a time of galloping inflation.

"This proposal was rejected twice by the FBiH Government, with the explanation that they are 'working' on a set of fiscal laws that include a law on the minimum wage of KM 1,000.

A year later, there is no set of fiscal laws, but the Government itself made a decision by which employers are given the opportunity to pay workers two average salaries tax-free during a 6-month period.

And then the Government also decided to pay compensation in the amount of two average salaries, approx. KM 2,500, to all employees who receive their salary from the Federation's budget, although probably none of the budget users in the Federation of BiH have a salary lower than KM 1,000!?

Therefore, the Government used the justified demands of workers in the economy to pay budget users, who already have a far better standard of living than workers in the economy, an additional KM 2,500 each.

At the same time, workers earning less than KM 1,000 might get some increase, because the Government's decision only provides an opportunity, not an obligation, to pay this one-time assistance to workers.

Does it need to be emphasized that workers in the economy, in addition to their own salaries, must earn the salaries of all budget users who only spend, and now they must also earn an additional gift voucher of KM 2,500 for them.
