Six Armenians without documents walked into BiH from Montenegro

Members of the Trebinje Border Police Unit on Saturday at 10:15 PM discovered six citizens of Armenia illegally crossing the state border, the Border Police of BiH announced, as reported by the BiH news agency Patria.

The foreign nationals arrived in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina on foot from the direction of Montenegro, and were discovered in the border zone of Vlahinja in the Bileća area. They did not possess identification documents that could establish their identity, and in conversation with officers, they stated that they come from Armenia.

They were taken to the official premises of the Trebinje Border Police Unit, where they were deprived of their liberty. Due to violations of the Law on Movement and Stay of Foreigners and Asylum, they were processed as misdemeanors before the Basic Court in Trebinje and handed over to the Service for Foreigners' Affairs for further action.
