Šešelj's Radicals to Participate in BiH Elections Following Decision by Four CEC Members!

SARAJevo, (Patria) - At today's session of the Central Election Commission, the decision of the Court of BiH regarding the appeal of Vojislav Šešelj's Serbian Radical Party was considered, and it was decided that this party can still participate in the General Elections in BiH, reports Patria agency.

The new decision was voted for by Irena Hadžiabdić, President of the CEC, and members Branko Petrić, Vlado Rogić, and Novak Božičković, while Suad Arnautović, Stjepan Mikić, and Ahmet Šantić voted against.

The Central Election Commission of BiH had previously refused to certify the application of the Serbian Radical Party dr. Vojislav Šešelj for the upcoming General Elections in BiH because its name contains the name of Vojislav Šešelj, who has been convicted of war crimes, after which the party appealed to the Court of BiH.

The Court of BiH returned the case for reconsideration to the Central Election Commission, where today, by a narrow majority, Šešelj's radicals were approved to participate in the country's October elections.
