Šešelj to visit Bajina Bašta to support referendum and elections in RS

President of the Serbian Radical Party and Hague indictee Vojislav Šešelj will arrive in Bajina Bašta on the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina this afternoon, to support the referendum on January 9th, which is being held tomorrow in Republika Srpska, and to give support to the Serbian Radical Party in the elections in Srebrenica on October 2nd.

A Patria agency journalist, who is in Bajina Bašta, reports that Šešelj's radicals began gathering in Bajina Bašta shortly before 5 PM. There are about 500 Šešelj's supporters in the town square. Among them are those from Bratunac and Srebrenica, who crossed the border to support Šešelj's rally.

Šešelj's radicals will try to cross the electoral threshold in the local elections in Srebrenica on October 2nd, and thus get several councilors in the Municipal Assembly.

One of the high-ranking members of this party told Patria earlier that they received money for the election campaign directly from Šešelj, and that they hope to cross the electoral threshold in the elections.
