Service information for the 2025 New Year's Eve celebration at the Eternal Flame: Entrances, bans and blocked streets

(Patria) - The City of Sarajevo and technical organisers are finalising the last preparations for the public New Year's Eve 2025 celebration.

It is planned that on 30 December all entrances will be open from 7:30 PM, and on 31 December from 7:15 PM.

Minor deviations in the planned timings are possible due to objective reasons.

The organiser has provided entrances at the Eternal Flame site, Maršala Tita Street to Radićeva Street from five directions, namely: into M. Tita Street for guests and the audience from the direction of TC "Aria" (intersection of M. Tita - Radićeva streets), from the direction of Pruščakova, Šenoina, Kulovića and Dalmatinska streets.

On both days, it is planned that security checks will last from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. During that time, Titova Street will be completely closed to vehicles and pedestrians from the Eternal Flame to the junction with Radićeva.

Citizens are asked to use alternative routes, to which they will be directed by official personnel.

For the first time, the organiser has provided a space for persons with disabilities who come to the said event from the direction of Mula Mustafe Bašeskije Street - Maršala Tita.

On 30 December, citizens will have four, and on the second night, 31 December, five emergency medical teams at their disposal.

A sufficient number of mobile toilets for visitors has also been provided, which will be adequately marked.

In addition, free public city transport has been provided before and after the end of the public New Year's Eve celebration (30 and 31 December), so citizens are asked to use these facilities to reduce traffic congestion in the city.

It is not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages, pyrotechnic devices, glass bottles and cans, as well as all other items that are prohibited at public gatherings, to the event location.

The organiser is not responsible for items whose entry is not allowed.

The use of drones is strictly prohibited without the consent of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton.
