Series "Warriors of Peace" at Kriterion from November 25 to 27

The Center for Post-Conflict Research from Sarajevo and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, in cooperation with the art cinema Kriterion, are organizing a film screening and photo exhibition from November 25 to 27 in support of the International Campaign to Stop Sexual Violence in Conflict - "IT IS TIME TO ACT", reports the BH News Agency Patria.

The artworks, photographs, and films are dedicated to women who have changed the face of conflict and influenced society as a whole. The exhibition "Hasija's Story" will officially open the series of films and photographs about women on November 25 at 5 PM, and in the following days, screenings will continue, bringing stories about the position of women victims of sexual violence in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The film and photography series about women, titled "Warriors of Peace", is organized with the support of the United Nations, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), and the art cinema Kriterion.

The exhibition opening will be attended by Velija Hasanbegović, photographer, and Hasija Branković, a survivor, as well as Velma Šarić, Director of CPI, Vanja Lazić, Director of art cinema Kriterion, and Almir Alić, representative of the Secretariat of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY).
