SERGIA IN MOSQUES: Large turnout of worshippers, Islamic Community in BiH earlier delivered emergency aid to affected areas

(Patria) - In all mosques in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the diaspora and home countries, a sergia was organized today for the population affected by the floods that recently struck our homeland, leaving behind human casualties and extensive material damage.

The Islamic Community, as always, promptly responded to the needs of the people. Emergency aid from the Bejtul-mal Fund has already been delivered to the hardest-hit areas, once again demonstrating that the Islamic Community stands by its people in the most difficult moments, providing support that is not only immediate but also systemic and long-term.

With a large turnout at today's sergia, worshippers once again showed care and solidarity with those affected in Jablanica, Konjic, Fojnica and Kiseljak.

The Islamic Community expresses gratitude to all worshippers who contributed with their donations to alleviate the consequences of this natural disaster, and will continue to provide assistance to those in need.

Sergias where aid was collected for Bosnia and Herzegovina were also held today in Montenegro, Kosovo and North Macedonia.
