Politicians in Bosnia and Herzegovina lag behind their European and American counterparts in many segments, including communication with citizens, especially direct communication. Newer, more digital media enable a different, more accessible and more direct way of communicating, and one of the most active politicians in our country who realized the power of social media in time is BiH Parliament member Senad Šepić, writes the Patria news agency.
Today, as the first politician in BiH, he communicated with citizens via the Facebook Live option, thus showing himself to be an example of a transparent and open politician.
Through the livestream, Šepić discussed with citizens the situation in BiH, the announced referendum, his position in the SDA and the democratization of the Party, Sarajevo's relationship with Krajina, balanced regional development, and other issues related to his work in the BiH Parliament.
In this way, Šepić showed the way for other politicians on how to communicate with citizens, not just during campaign season.
