Šepić: Changes in BiH are coming for sure, Kasumović's victory in Zenica already hinted at that

(Patria) - The president of the Independent Bloc and candidate for the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the October elections, Senad Šepić, stated that BiH can no longer endure either right-wing nationalism or left-wing populism, and that citizens need new policies that will offer them a clear vision of the future.

„My opponent from SDA, Šefik Džaferović, said he will continue where Bakir Izetbegović left off. Well, those who are fine with Bakir, let them vote for Džaferović,“ said Šepić in a show on FACE TV.
He emphasized that he was part of SDA and tried to bring changes to the party, but gave up when he saw that it was impossible.

„Those who swear by Alija Izetbegović have put him on a garbage container, and themselves on the SCC building,“ said Šepić, as reported by Patria. He stated that this country and its people need justice more than ever.

„We need equal rights for everyone, in every part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We need that in my Cazin, a new mother also has 12 salaries like in Sarajevo,“ said Šepić.

In a poll by Face TV, he received the most votes for the Bosniak member of the Presidency.

Šepić announced that candidates from the Independent Bloc who enter parliaments will set aside 20 percent of their salary for a solidarity fund, and by their own example show that politics must think of its fellow citizens.

Asked why there are people on the Independent Bloc list who are not party members, Šepić said he „wanted to offer the best to this country and its institutions.“

„With this policy, I can build a partnership in the EU and the USA, and I already have them,“ stated Šepić. He said he is confident of victory because people are encouraged to seek new policies, the best example of which, as he said, is the mayor of Zenica, Fuad Kasumović, who won in Zenica in local elections even though he did not have a party machine behind him.
