Šepić: Tadić, Debevec, Mehmedagić and those who appointed them must go

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Independent Bloc expresses its outrage over the obvious abuses of judicial and intelligence institutions and their complete utilization for private political showdowns.

"Such transparent privatization of Bosnia and Herzegovina's institutions has not been seen in any modern country, and it is evident that no progress has been made with the reforms so far. The abuses of power by Chief State Prosecutor Gordana Tadić and her selective approach to cases have long been documented, scandals surrounding the controversial dual citizenship of the President of the Court of BiH Ranko Debevec and the questionable education of the Head of OSA Osman Mehmedagić - Osmica have turned into a circus, and the question arises whether these individuals and institutions do anything else besides dealing with themselves and mutual accusations. What is even worse is that all the accusations they direct at each other seem to be valid and show that none of them are clean and proper," stated Senad Šepić, President of the Independent Bloc.

Demands for the dismissal of certain officeholders will not bring anything new because everything we are witnessing indicates that the entire system is irreparably corrupt and toxic.

"Lately, there has been a competition in abusing the institutions of this country, which proves that we need thorough reforms according to the clear recommendations we received from the EU. It is not enough to just dismiss Gordana Tadić or Osmica; everything they have brought to the public in their mutual attacks clearly shows that Tadić, Debevec, and Osmica must go, along with those who appointed them," said the President of the Independent Bloc, Senad Šepić.
