Semir Štilić signs new contract with FK Željezničar

(Patria) - The management of FK Željezničar and Semir Štilić have signed a new contract, and the brilliant midfielder is returning to the ranks of the Blues.

Semir Štilić returned to Grbavica in 2019 after a rich foreign career and played a total of 47 matches, scoring 18 goals and providing 16 assists.

Semir Štilić was born on October 8, 1987, in Sarajevo. He went through all the selections of the FK Željezničar Youth Academy, and then played for the first team from the 2004/2005 to 2007/2008 season. From Grbavica, he moved to Lech Poznan with whom he won the championship, cup, and super cup of Poland. He then played for Karpaty, Gaziantepspor, Wisla Krakow, APOEL, and Wisla Plock.

Štilić will have his first training session with the Blues today, FK Željezničar announced.
