(Patria) - In a city of fear, children without school – in the classroom or in nature – what is the agenda of the KS Government, asked SDA representative in the KS Assembly Faruk Selmanović in a press release.

"The city of Sarajevo is once again under siege, only this time not by a foreign aggressor, but by the incompetence and ignorant attitude of its own executive authority.

The perpetrators of false bomb threats and the weakening of the security apparatus of Sarajevo Canton are not being prosecuted, and meanwhile Minister Hota-Muminović is further worsening the situation.

I believe that by now everyone is clear about the inability of the political leadership of the security apparatus of the KS Ministry of Interior and the FBiH Police Administration to adequately respond to security threats. Announcements about the return of expertise and the procurement of modern equipment have proven to be as realistic as the 'expertise' of the ruling majority.

Now it is clear to everyone that the 'European' amendments to the Law on Internal Affairs and the Law on Police Officers served only to 'occupy' the security apparatus and settle scores with dissidents, along with the occasional 'placement' of party activists.

Instead of adequate protection, the citizens of Sarajevo can only expect, in the foreseeable future, the minister's 'helicopter' which will publish the next series of 'profound' photographs, following the example of his coalition partner, 'in flight'.

Unfortunately, the 'expertise' of the Minister of Interior is not the only thing we are facing. At the same time, his party colleague of equal abilities decides to completely exclude parents and experts and unilaterally prevents any form of response from the Ministry to this burning issue.

Namely, in addition to the fact that the Minister of Education of Sarajevo Canton refuses to consider online classes as a modality to stop the threats, she also refuses to give consent for ninth-grade students to go on an excursion in May next year.

Although 'at first glance' that sounds like some kind of sanction, it is far from it; 'our expert' orders that school in nature and excursions be held in December, probably hoping that in this way students will improve their knowledge of pneumonia or some similar illness.

We are probably all wondering why these two expert ministries do not respond to the crisis by banning the use of mobile phones during classes, introducing signal jammers in schools, or demanding from the prosecutor's office more serious sanctions for perpetrators in the form of prosecution for organized crime, terrorism, and even confiscation of travel documents.

Unfortunately, only we are asking ourselves that, and in the meantime our Government has a ready policy: 'Budget to zero, loans to the max, then everyone slowly into the helicopter for an excursion.' Whether bombs fall or not, they don't care," Faruk Selmanović stated in a post on his Facebook profile.
