Selak: All presidents of ruling parties in RS are suspects

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - SPS President Goran Selak, after being heard at the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding decisions on the transfer of competencies from BiH to RS, gave a statement to the media and said that the presidents of all political parties of the ruling coalition in RS are suspects in the case being conducted against several individuals on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "attack on the constitutional order".

As he stated after the hearing, he gave a statement at the BiH Prosecutor's Office where he said that he is "for strengthening the institutions of RS", that he is "for a strong and stable RS within Dayton BiH".

"We, from SPS, did not participate in the creation, participation, and adoption of decisions on returning RS competencies. We are of the opinion that discussions should be held, that all three peoples in BiH should sit down to see which competencies have been unconstitutionally transferred to BiH and which can be returned to RS," Selak stated.

Selak believes that it is necessary to conduct an analysis of "which institutions at the BiH level are not functioning" and to see "which competencies are a burden to BiH and are not functional".

"I was informed that the presidents of all political parties are suspects, as well as the proposers of conclusions and declarations. The President of RS is also a suspect, as is the Prime Minister of RS and the heads of parliamentary groups. Therefore, the presidents of all parties who are proposers of these conclusions are suspects, and they are certainly the ruling coalition in RS," Selak emphasized.

He added that he is a witness in this case, but also that he believes there was no attack on the constitutional order.

Selak also stated that several individuals have already been heard in connection with this case at the BiH Prosecutor's Office, N1 reports.
