SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Zoran Tegeltija, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, immediately upon his appointment to this position stated that he would advocate for opening the sessions of the Council of Ministers to the public.
Thus, regarding the need to open the sessions to the public, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of better informing the public and increasing the level of transparency of the work of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, expressed its commitment to open the sessions of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the public.
“The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina is tasked with, within 60 days from the date of adoption of this conclusion at the session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposing to the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina a technical solution that will enable the sessions of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina to be opened to the public via the e-government system in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The technical solution should also include the necessary financial costs and the time frame required for the implementation of this activity,” was concluded at the Council of Ministers.
Also, they tasked the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina with, within 60 days from the date of adoption of this conclusion at the session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, submitting to the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina a detailed analysis of how governments in the region are working to increase the transparency of their work and improve the quality of communication with the public, along with a proposal for implementing activities to achieve these goals.
These conclusions were adopted yesterday, January 23, at the session of the Council of Ministers.
