Šekib Umihanić new president of SDA Tuzla Canton

(Patria) - Šekib Umihanić is the new president of the Cantonal Board (KO) of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) of Tuzla Canton (TK), it was confirmed at tonight's electoral session of the Assembly of KO SDA TK.

One of the vice-presidents is Midhat Čaušević, who recently withdrew from the race for the president of KO SDA TK, and the KO SDA will have several more vice-presidents.

Umihanić was elected for a mandate period until 2027, writes RTV Slon.

- Among the priorities for work are healthcare for the citizens of TK, then the issue of deblocking transport in TK.

Although the roads connecting the cities of TK with larger centers are under the jurisdiction of the FBiH, we want to open a dialogue with other parties from this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina to solve this problem.

We will also try in the coming period to give more opportunities to young people and create better conditions for their lives.

We also cannot neglect the care for the veteran population, as well as for returnees - Umihanić said after being elected president of KO SDA TK.
