Šeki Radončić: They are burning, breaking and intimidating – the same ones who did it across BiH

(Patria) - Journalist and publicist Šeki Radončić said in tonight's Pressing on N1 that the attacks on Bosniaks in the north of Montenegro are a consequence of the election results in this country.

Radončić said the situation is dramatic and that a "quiet ethnic cleansing" is underway.

"The situation is very dramatic. Even today, a quiet ethnic cleansing is taking place in the north of Montenegro. We are not in 2020, but in 1992 or 1892. The fact that opposition representatives called and scolded individuals is, in my opinion, classic arsonist behavior. They set that fire; it is a consequence of the politics of blood and soil. I am referring to Amfilohije and the leaders of the Greater Serbian opposition in Montenegro," he said.

He added that Bosniaks, like all minority peoples, are under pressure.

"Bosniaks are not moving or fleeing their hearths because they are pretending, as was once claimed in the 1990s, that they are simulating the burning of houses; rather, Bosniaks are truly under enormous pressure, as are minority peoples, including Montenegrins."

Sociologist Vesna Pešić asked Radončić who can stop this and provide a solution, to which he replied:

"It is easy to talk about it from the heights of Belgrade and in a diplomatic manner. But I am here. They are burning, breaking, and intimidating – the same ones who did it across BiH. Yesterday I was driving a car, someone overtook me, and people were waving flags and raising three fingers. Let's be clear, they didn't recognize me, but they saw Bosnian license plates. That was reason enough for them. Sorry, Vesna, these are very complex stories. There is a history here. The liturgies began when the metropolitan said that Đukanović's messages were worse than the NDH. At that time, I wrote an article saying that this would lead to ethnic cleansing of the north of Montenegro," he said.

"I already expect that columns from the north of Montenegro will head towards BiH to save what they can. The police are stretched thin on every corner, and a police force formatted like this cannot cover every area," Radončić added.
