Šehović promotes book "Narod mog vremena"

As part of the cultural event "Ilijaš Days 2014", a evening of literature and sevdah will be held on Tuesday on the plateau in front of the Ilijaš Municipality building. Two books will be promoted, "Narod mog vremena" by Salem Šehović and "Put u nepoznato" by Rahima Halimanovicć. The promoters of the books are Mustafa Smajlovicć and Enver Šadinlija, writes the Patria news agency.

Šehović told NAP that after two decades of journalistic work, he decided to unite his most interesting published stories about unusual people and events in the print media in the book "Narod mog vremena".

- I am leaving this book as a legacy to the generations to come, and let it remind them of the times that generations before them went through. Mentioned are good and honest people, old customs that are disappearing, and I have paid special attention to the poor, and by the state, forgotten people – said Šehović.

This is his 11th book promotion, and due to recent floods, promotions in Tuzla, Olovo, Brčko, Mostar and Goražde, as well as Linz, Stuttgart and Istanbul have been postponed.
