The 12th anniversary of the death of the first President of the Presidency of RBiH and the first President of SDA, Alija Izetbegović, was marked at Kovači Martyrs' Cemetery, writes the BH news agency Patria.
Numerous delegations laid flowers and recited Fatiha at Kovači Martyrs' Cemetery. Flowers were laid by Alija's son, Bakir Izetbegović, a member of the Presidency of BiH and current President of SDA.
An academy on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of Izetbegović's death will be held this evening at the National Theatre Sarajevo at 8:00 PM.
