Financial aid handed out to families of martyrs before Eid al-Fitr

In the large hall of the Centar Municipality Council, a reception and distribution of one-time financial aid in the amount of one hundred BAM each for twenty families of martyrs was organized today on the occasion of Ramazan Bayram, reports the Patria News Agency.

On behalf of the Centar Municipality, the families of martyrs were hosted by the President of the Municipal Council Nedžad Ajnadžić, advisor to the mayor Mustafa Resić, assistant to the mayor for general administration Jasna Beba, assistant to the mayor for veteran and disability protection Hamza Đulaga, and assistant to the mayor for economy and finance Fahrudin Kurtović.

President Ajnadžić said that the families of martyrs deserve deep respect and great attention.

- We are pleased that we have the opportunity to be together and talk with the families of martyrs and fallen soldiers. These are families that deserve our respect, and in accordance with our capabilities, we organize this activity every year, which we will continue as an example of good practice in the future, emphasized Ajnadžić.

Demirović Munira lost her only son in 1992.

- My son was 22 years old. He was married, he had a six-month-old daughter. This is not the first year I have received aid from the Centar Municipality, and it means a lot to me that someone remembers us, the families of martyrs - said Munira.

One-time financial aid was received by Jasmin Čizmović, Munira Demirović, Adi Džamalija, Alija Jelašković, Ćamka Kahriman, Nermina Kulovac, Remzija Lemeš, Admira Mesihović, Ferida Muhić, Fehim Musić, Almasa Orić, Fata Pandžić, Hikma Pandžić, Ibro Pandžić, Zahida Pandžić, Šemsa Pehilj, Abdurahman Prašević, Fata Prazina, Jasminka Selmanović, and Amina Torlak.
