European Commission President: We are sending rescue teams to BiH

"We have activated our EU Civil Protection Mechanism and are sending rescue teams on the ground. This is EU solidarity in action", stated Von der Leyen.

Let us remind you, the Ministry of Security of BiH sent a request yesterday through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism for international assistance in mitigating the consequences of floods and landslides that affected several municipalities in BiH.

(Patria) - The Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina today, through the European Union's Civil Protection Mechanism, sent a request for international assistance in mitigating the consequences of floods and landslides that affected several municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The request was sent after the Government of the FBiH made a decision that, due to the scale of the floods, international assistance is needed in mitigating the consequences, and submitted a list of the most essential equipment and resources.
