Sefer and this year plans to take 200,000 KM from veterans for his "Justice"

On the orders of party leader Sefer Halilović, Minister for Veterans' Affairs of KS Faid Hećo, on two occasions, gave 400,000 KM from the KS Budget to the Foundation for the Protection of Historical Facts "Justice" Sarajevo, whose director is Medina Delalić, a member of BPS, and the Association's headquarters is at the same address as BPS at Ćemaluša 6/II street, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

The third tranche of 200,000 KM, which the current minister Muharem Fišo is supposed to give, is on hold because the deputies in the KS Assembly have protested.

As we have already written, the Justice Foundation received 200,000 KM in 2013, and it was founded only two months before the money was approved.

The money was allegedly supposed to go towards providing legal aid for suspected and accused former members of the Army of RBiH in war crimes cases for 2013, and as we have learned, the families of the accused from Hadžići (eight of them) received 5,000 KM each.

Also, in 2014, Hećo announced a Public Call for financing/co-financing of projects providing legal and other assistance to suspected and accused former members of the Army of BiH in war crimes cases for 2014. The call exclusively states that foundations registered for the specified type of activity are invited.
As we learn from well-informed sources, the Justice Foundation again receives 200,000 KM, and from that, the families of the accused from Hadžići again receive 5,000 KM each.

The Patria News Agency is still awaiting a report from the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs of KS on the spending of these funds and a report on what exactly 200,000 KM of public money was spent on.

An identical public call for 2015 was published on the Ministry's website on April 20, 2015.

However, the plans of the current minister Muharem Fišo were disrupted by the SDA deputy in the KS Assembly Eldar Čomor, who asked a parliamentary question about how the money allocated to the Justice Foundation was spent, and requested that a budget inspection be carried out to determine how and for what purpose the money was spent.

After that, as we learn, Minister Fišo stopped the allocation of funds, and now everything is on hold. Also, those familiar with the issue state that Fišo, although he himself is from Hadžići, said that the "Hadžići group is not a priority in his work".

It is important to point out that there are no more than ten court proceedings against persons suspected of war crimes in Sarajevo Canton.

Otherwise, BPS in the Government of Sarajevo Canton only has the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs of KS, and this was obtained through political bargaining for two votes in the KS Assembly (Semir Halilović and Nermin Bjelak).

We remind you that Sefer Halilović asked SDA for two ministries in KS, two in the FBiH Government, and the position of FBiH Vice President, and in return, their two votes would be part of the majority along with the DF votes. However, from that plan, they received this Ministry, which literally serves to finance BPS. However, whether the recently signed coalition at the FBiH level will be an opportunity to realize Halilović's wishes will be seen very soon. 

It should be reminded that the director of the Foundation, Medina Delalić, was proposed in as many as five commissions at the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs of KS in December 2013. The then minister Asim Džambasović (BPS), who became minister in November 2012, did not want to sign that decision and resigned in April 2013 for what he called "private reasons". Faid Hećo (BPS) immediately took his place and carried out his party leader's orders until the end of his term. Now Muharem Fišo is doing it.

AUDIT REPORT

The report on the audit of the financial statements of the Sarajevo Canton budget for 2014 showed, among other things, that the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs of KS did not submit Form 10 to the Ministry of Finance of KS. Report on the earmarked spending of transfers.

Furthermore, it was determined that the realization of transfers, for the most part, relates, among other things, to the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs in the amount of 1,614,112 KM, but also questionable and disputed receivables are largely stated at the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs in the amount of 1,789,933 KM.
