Seven countries and three international organizations donated around five million KM

A report by the BiH Ministry of Security, presented yesterday at a session of the House of Representatives on the situation in BiH caused by the natural disaster, lists the aid that BiH received from 17 countries and organizations between May 16 and May 24, reports the BiH news agency Patria, although it states that there were 29 countries. Aid from Italy and Qatar arrived between May 25 and May 27.

Monetary contributions were made by Austria with 45,000 euros, Norway with 615,000 euros, the Czech Republic with 182,000 euros, Italy with 100,000 euros, Luxembourg (amount not specified), the Netherlands with 500,000 euros to BiH and Serbia, Greece with 100,000 euros, NATO with 700,000 dollars to the account of the RS Government, UNDP with 300,000 dollars, and UNESCO with 50,000 dollars, with 25,000 each to the governments of the FBiH and RS entities, which converts to approximately 4,845,000 KM in BiH currency.

The report also lists the quantities of supplies delivered, with Azerbaijan and the United States of America sending the largest donations.

Azerbaijan delivered 12 motorboats, 32 generators, 19 pumps, 76 tanks, 12 hoses, 32 flashlights, 20 gas cylinders, 300 helmets, 131 protective suits, 180 sleeping bags, 193 tents, and 1000 blankets, according to the list, which amounts to about 40 tons of aid.

The USA sent 15 water purifiers, 6 generators, 46,500 sandbags, 651 shovels, 440 sleeping bags, 940 sets of bedding, 410 mattresses, 415 blankets, 912 canisters, 14 heaters, 288 camp beds, 83 camp bed sheets, 1236 pieces of waterproof clothing, 1,600 raincoats, and 992 cooking pots, writes Patria.

All received aid was directed to the Civil Protection of the FBiH, RS, and Brčko District.

According to this list, a total of 17 motorboats arrived in BiH, and although not specified, the US government sent 13 motorboats and 50,000 dollars.
