(Patria) - SDS Vice President Ognjen Bodiroga and SDS MP in the NSRS Mirjana Orašanin addressed the public tonight from the party's election headquarters after the polling stations closed in the repeated elections for the President of Republika Srpska.
Orašanin stated that as of 7 p.m., there were still no complete data on voter turnout, and that the election day was marked by numerous irregularities.
– Elections should have been a pillar of democracy, but they were marked by coercion, bribery and vote buying – she said.
Bodiroga assessed that this was, as he stated, open and obvious vote buying, adding that the SDS will address the public again after the results are announced.
The repeated early elections for the President of RS were held today in 17 municipalities, at a total of 136 polling stations, with 84,474 voters having the right to vote.
