SDS proposal on fuel price reduction to receive support from SDP and NB

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Club of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) has submitted to parliamentary procedure amendments to the Law on Excises, according to which the law that led to an increase in fuel prices in the country in December last year should be repealed.

The Chairperson of the party's Club in the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Aleksandra Pandurević, stated that the adoption of such a proposal would mean the abolition of the increase in tolls by 15 feninga plus value-added tax, which would mean that fuel prices per liter would be reduced by 18 feninga.

The SDS proposal, as announced so far, will be supported by the SDP and the Independent Bloc.

The President of the BiH entity Republika Srpska and President of the SNSD, Milorad Dodik, called such an initiative politicking. Dodik claims that it is impossible to build roads without these excises.

On the other hand, although the money from excises has been collected in this way since December last year, it has still not been spent on road construction, which the opposition considers one of the biggest frauds of the current government, Patria reports.
