SDP in Brčko: We will renovate schools for our children and ensure healthcare for all citizens

„Let us renovate classrooms for our children, provide them with equipment suited to the century we live in. Give them a chance to show how much they know. That is why we will propose a Law on Renovation of Schools at all levels, and its adoption will be a condition of the SDP for anyone to talk to us about forming a government. All citizens in BiH have the same problems when it comes to healthcare, and that is why we will ensure a basic package of healthcare services for all citizens, through our project healthcare for all“, was the message from the SDP gathering in Brčko.

At the Program Convention of the Social Democratic Party of BiH, held in Brčko on Monday, it was emphasised that all citizens of BiH want a government that will lead BiH in the right way and solve problems that are the same in all parts of the country.

„We know you are looking for healthcare and education systems that work. Citizens are looking for a party with ideas for economic development across BiH. Plan 10 is a plan that puts care for citizens and their needs first. We have solutions and a way to make our schools better. We know what citizens need. We know what the youth of BiH need. In creating Plan 10, young people also had their say. They want education, they want an equal chance to stay and contribute to the development of our country. The first step is to enable them to study in schools that both they and their parents will be proud of. Let us renovate their classrooms, provide them with equipment suited to the century we live in. Give them a chance to show how much they know. That is why we will offer a Law on Renovation of Schools at all levels, and its adoption will be a condition of the SDP for anyone to talk to us about forming a government“, said Nermin Nikšić, president of the SDP.

Branka Đurić, commissioner of the SDP BiH Brčko Region, said at the convention that the SDP was and remains a party of all citizens in BiH.

„We are here to tell you what we want and can do in the Brčko District. We want to hear your ideas and problems. Only together with all of you can a change for the better happen across BiH. We know that everyone in BiH has problems when it comes to healthcare, and that is why we will ensure a basic package of healthcare services for all citizens, through our project healthcare for all“, Đurić emphasised.

„Plan 10 will not allow such a high unemployment rate among young people. Plan 10 will not allow a quarter of employed citizens in our country to live on the brink of poverty.

Honest work must provide a decent living. Let us give our country a chance to be a country where both we and our children live! Plan 10 can only be successful if we all work together on its implementation“, stressed Suad Burić, president of the SDP BiH Brčko organisation.
