SDP demands Novalić's immediate resignation, stating he humiliates and insults workers

The Social Democratic Party of BiH demands that Fadil Novalić immediately resign from the position of Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH and apologize to all citizens of the Federation of BiH, it was announced from SDP BiH, writes the news agency Patria.

-Following his statement that hunger strikers at the Tuzla factory TTU, 'since they haven't had a salary for 15 years, can endure another month or two,' Novalić can simply no longer hold any public office.

With such a statement, Novalić has confirmed the continuity of humiliation, belittling, and insulting of workers and the working class in the Federation of BiH, for whom he clearly thinks they deserve only charity and nothing more. Such a person cannot hold any public office.

If Novalić does not wish to do so, we demand that Bakir Izetbegović and his SDA remove Novalić from this position, because he is acting as the bankruptcy administrator of the Federation of BiH, not its prime minister. Otherwise, it will surely become clear to everyone that Novalić is actually just implementing his party's policy.

Regarding the falsehoods and fabrications that Novalić uttered about the plunder of FDS, which he carried out, we tell him that if everything is as clean and legal as he claims, then he should support the holding of an extraordinary session of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH where this topic should be discussed. According to the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, that session should have been held by today, but the SDA-SBB and HDZ coalition prevented it.

It is a lie that the Government in the previous term, led by SDP, made the decision to sell FDS. The truth is that the Government led by SDP tried to stop the crime in this company, as evidenced by dozens of criminal charges filed in connection with it.

Unlike Novalić, who clearly hates workers, we in SDP adopted the Law on Privatization Audit and the Law on Confiscation of Illegally Acquired Property in the previous term, in order to ensure at least some justice, primarily for hundreds of thousands of robbed workers.

Novalić's Government and his SDA have been blocking the implementation of these laws from the first day they came to power. The rule of law will eventually prevail in BiH, and the private state that SDA is creating for its clique will lose the battle against the legal state for which SDP BiH fights and advocates, the statement reads.
